In most cases, including unistd.h and fcntl.h was a left over anyway.
In the cases where it was not, move it to compat.h.

If this option is used, only libsquashfs is built and installed,
and the test cases for the other helper libraries are deactivated.

Its the only user. The other code doesn't touch raw file
descriptors anymore.

- Padd the compressor config union
- 128 bytes aught to be enough for everyone, i.e. future compressors.
- Insist that the padding space is initialized to 0. If a field gets
added to an existing compressor, it can test for 0 as a sentinel
value.
- Add a size field to the hook structure, aka "the Microsoft way".
- The explanation is in the comment.
- Don't make the Microsoft mistake of checking for >=, insist on *exact*
size match. Future users will need a fallback if their hooks are
rejected. But at least they will be rejected instead of silently not
being used.
- Add an unsupported flag check to the dir tree reader.
- Add a basic abi unit test that, for now, checks the size of the compressor
config struct fields.

- We don't have "endian.h" everywhere. On some BSDs its in sys and
on some BSDs the macros have different names.
- We definitely don't have sysmacros.h on non-Unix-like systems.
- Likewise for sys/types.h, sys/stat.h and their contents.

Now that dir_info_t and file_info_t have reasonably small, use them in
tree_node_t directly instead of doing pointer arithmetic magic on the
payload area.

This only exists for tar2sqfs. Move the sparse file map to libtar
and add the ability to do this into the stind sqfs_file_t abstraction,
so it acts like a normal file but internally stitches the data
together from the sparse implementation.

This commit does the following:
- canonicalize_name is moved to libfstree
- source_date_epoch is only used inside libfstree, so it's also moved
over and can later be completely internalized
- print_version is moved over to sqfshelper. Mainly so it doesn't end
up in libsquashfs.so for no sane reason.

This commit exchanges some malloc(x + y * z) patterns that can be found
with a simple git grep and are obvious for the new wrappers.

It is optimized to the maximum and if we already use zlib anyway,
why not use zlib crc32? This also makes zlib a hard dependency which
also means the whole "do we have a compressor" sanity check in the
build system can be removed.

struct stat uses time_t to store time values. On some 32 bit systems,
this may be a 32 bit integer.
This patch adds a broken-out 64 bit time value to tar_header_decoded_t
and makes sure to clamp the value to +/- (2^32 - 1) if required when
writing it back to a struct stat.

This commit removes all the code for parsing and processing atime/ctime
and values and related test code.
Caring about those is kind of pointless because squashfs can only store
mtime in inodes. The only relevant place is when generating a struct
stat from a squashfs inode or an fstree node.

Requires that config.h be included before other headers, since the macro
_FILE_OFFSET_BITS changes the definitions of things like 'struct stat'.
I chose to simply include it at the top of every C file and at
immediately after the double-inclusion guards of every header.

This commit adds a mechanism to fstree_from_file to support filenames
with spaces in them by quoting the entire string. Quote marks can still
be used inside file names by escaping them with a backslash. Back slashes
(if that is your thing) can also be escaped.

If read_retry fails to read the expected amount of data (EOF or otherwise),
it is almost always an error.
This commit renames read_retry to read_data and moves error handling
into the function, making a lot of error handling code redundant.

The format is documented as "<c|b> major minor" but the parser was
