The ubi-utils/src/ subdir is tossed as it just complicates things for no
real gain. The dictionary.h header is relocated to the ubi-utils/include/
since other headers in there need it.
The top level clean is replaced with a `find -delete` on objects, so it
might prune more than necessary, but many projects now do this sort of
thing and no one complained there.
A "mkdep" helper generates the actual rule, and the variables are used
with "foreach" to expand these automatically.
The tests subdir is updated only to reflect the ubi-utils source move.
Otherwise, it is left untouched as making that non-recursive isn't really
worth the effort.
While we're gutting things, also through in kbuild style output while
building to make things more legible.

Make sure all the utils define PROGRAM_NAME and do so at the start of
the file so that sub-headers may assume it exists.

struct ubi_attach_request now has additional field 'dev' that can contain path
to the MTD device node in the filesystem. Also there are two new functions that
are able to handle path to the MTD device node:
ubi_attach() - attach MTD device by number or by path
ubi_detach() - detach MTD device by path
ubi_attach() works like ubi_attach_mtd() when it is passed empty req->dev,
otherwise it looks up correct MTD device number based on the given device node
path.

This patch contains changes similar to the ones in the previous
patch.
Also, it changes all invocations of memset and makes sure
the argument is 0, not '\0', because memset expects int,
not char.

The memset is obviously wrong, and valgrind tells
use there are some uninitialised bytes used after read()

This large commit makes several things.
1. Switches libmtd to use the new sysfs interface
2. Implements new handy 'mtdinfo' utility
3. Does minore amendmends in libubi and some ubi-tools.

This is needed for io_paral test.
|
|
Not sure why, but udevsettle does not work when threads are
used. In the io_paral test I experience the problem when
udevsettle opens UBI volumes and prevents tests to open
them (EBUSY is returned).

The UBI tools refuse to work with symlinks like
'/dev/ubi/bootloader -> ../ubi0_2' because they use 'lstat(2)' and get
information about the symlink but not about the device. This is
unwanted and fixed by this patch.
This patch renames 'struct stat stat' variables to 'st' to avoid
compilation errors.

to use its value to check for errors then you must set it to zero
before calling the library function (in this case readdir).

Add new handy UBI utility which prints various type of UBI information.
This commit also includes a lot of fixes and cleanups in libubi, and
other utilities. It was quite complex to separate this all out and
I figured that nobody anyway would really need this, and decided to
save my time for more useful things.

Just silly hacks. Also remove udevsettle() invocation from UBI
library. If it must be called, it is not library's business
anyway. Wa added it to make scripts which use ubimkvol utility
run, so it is the only caller that really needs this. So
just move the cruft to the utility.
